Cell immobilization of Trichoderma harzianum NRC 12 on chitin by covalent binding was effective for production of hydrolytic ezymes endoglucanase (endo-GN; EC 3.2.1.4.) and endopolymethylgalacturonase (endo- PMG;EC3.2.1.15) using 60 g/l of olive mill waste as substrate. Optimization conditions for free and immobilized T.harzianum NRC 12 proved the use of immobilized one. Antifungal activity and green house experiment for immobilized T. harzianum NRC 12 was most effective than free.
