Chemical Constituents of Kappaphychus alvarezii (Doty)
Author(s): Consolacion Y. Ragasa, Joan Candice Ondevilla and Chien-Chang ShenChemical investigation of the dichloromethane extract of Kappaphychus alvarezii(Doty),led to the isolation of zeinoxanthin (1), β-carotene (2), chlorophyll a (3),cholesterol (4), phytyl fatty acid esters (5), triacylglycerols(6), and saturated fatty acids (7). The structures of 1-7were identified by comparison of their NMR data with those reported in the literature.
