Abstract
Design and Synthesis of (2-(furanyl)vinyl)-1-tetralone Chalcones as Anticancer Agents
Author(s): Sarah K Zingales, Morgan E MooreTen chalcones (1a-e and 2a-e) were synthesized by the Claisen-Schmidt reaction. These compounds were submitted to PASS online for determination of likely biological activities and further QSAR analysis. These chalcones were predicted to have anticancer activity, specifically as inducers of apoptosis.
