Dayananda Reddy7-Hydroxyisoflavones (1a-e) with allylbromide refluxed for 6 hrs to give7-alloxyisoflavones (2ae) and their Claisen rearrangement to 8-allyl-7-hydroxyisoflavones (3a-e) with react dichlorobis palladium in benzene for 30 min at room temperature to give 8-methyl-4H-furo [2,3-h] isoflavones(5a-e )
