Abstract
In vitro evaluation of anti-oxidant activity of different ex tracts of Justicia gendarussa leaf

NarenderThe plant Justicia gendarussa was investigated for their antioxidant activity. The extractions were su bjected to assay by Reducing power, Nitric oxide scavenging ac tivity, DPPH methods for evaluation of anti oxidant activity. Among these Petroleum ether extract of Justicia gen darussa revealed strongest antioxidant activity. Th e results primarily suggest the presence of potent oxidant in hibitory principles in the leaf of Justicia gendaru ssa.
