Abstract
PEG Mediated Eco-Friendly One Pot Synthesis of �²-Amino Carbonyl Compounds under Ambient Temperature Conditions
Author(s): Amel Zetchi, Boudjemaa Boumoud, Taoues Boumoud and Abdelmadjid DebacheVarious β–amino carbonyl derivatives were synthesized, by the reaction of aniline, acetophenone and aromatic aldehydes, in high yields within shorter reaction times using PEG-600 as a safer catalyst under solvent-free conditions at room temperature. This synthetic route is exceedingly easy and avoids the use of toxic catalysts.
