Spectrophotometric determination of losartan potassium through ion association reaction

Balamurali Krishna, Chintala RambabuSimple, selective, sensitive, accurate and economical spectrophotometric the determination of Losartan potassium methods involve the formation of orange red / Losartan potassium with BCG / BTB in acid medium, exhibiting absorption maxima at 430nm, and obeying Beer’s law in the concentration range of Statistical analysis of the results of the proposed methods reveals high accuracy and good precision. The proposed methods could be successfully extended to the commercial pharmaceutical formulations containing potassium.
