Author(s): K. C. Patil *1 and C. M. Dudhe 2

Densities, viscosities, and the speed of sound in a queous solutions of aminoglycoside antibiotic -stre ptomycin sulphate have been measured. The influence of conce ntration and also the temperature upon some physico -chemical properties such as acoustic impedance, adiabatic co mpressibility, free length, relaxation time, intern al pressure, absorption coefficient, free volume, Rao’s constant , Wada’s constant, cohesive energy, Gibb’s free ene rgy, relative association and Van der Waal’s constant have also b een studied which help in understanding the molecul ar interactions occurring in the solution. The obtaine d results show significant influence of concentrati on and temperature on the phenomenon of molecular aggregat ion.
