Abstract
Synthesis and Antibacterial Activity of Novel Isoxazoline Derivatives
Author(s): Sailu B , Srinivas Mahanti , Satya Srinivas A, Balram B, Ram B, Taara B and Vasudha BNew isoxazoline derivatives (4a - 4l) were prepared from commercially available 2-Hydroxy-Aceto-Naphthanone and their antibacterial activity against four pathogenic bacteria, two Gram negative bacteria and two Gram positive bacteria. Majority of the isoxazoline analogues exhibited antibacterial activity comparable to ampicillin as reference drug.
