Abstract
Synthesis and Antimicrobial Screening of Novel 5-(2-((1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl) methoxy)-2-phenylethyl)-3-methyl-4-nitroisoxazole Derivatives
Author(s): Budarapu Neelamma, Janapatla Uma Rani, Sunitha Vianala and Murali Krishna ThupuraniA library of novel bis-heterocycles encompassing isoxazole and 1,2,3-triazoles were synthesized by click chemistry approach and the structures of all newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, NMR and MASS spectroscopic techniques. The synthesized final compounds (6a-m) have been tested for their antimicrobial activity. Results showed that compounds 6m, 6i, 6f and 6h posses significant antimicrobial activity.
