Abstract
Synthesis and characterization of 8-(N-substituted phenyl)-1,4,7,8-tetrahydrodipyrazolo[ 3,4-b;4ΓΆΒ?Β?,3ΓΆΒ?Β?-e]-pyridines
Author(s): A. P. Rajput and P. D. GiraseA series of new 8-(N-substituted phenyl)-1,4,7,8-tetrahydro-dipyrazolo[3,4-b;4’,3’-e]-pyridines 6a-d were prepared by condensation of aq. HCl with hydrazinodioxolane derivatives 5a-d which were prepared by the action of hydrazine hydrate on chlorodioxolane derivatives 4a-d which in turns have been prepared by the action of ethylene glycol on target compounds 3a-d. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds have been confirmed on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral studies.
