KapoorA series of novel 2-amino-6-(3,3-dimethylspiro{bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2,5´-isoxazoline-2}-3´-yl)-4-arylpyrimidines and 2-amino-6-(5-alkyl-2-isoxazolin-3-yl)-4-arylpyrimidines containing a lipophilic moiety have been synthesised by Claisen-Schmidt condensation and have been screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activities.
