Chemical constituents from the bark of Lannea acida Rich (Anacardiaceae)

MuhaisenFour flavonoids named as 6,7-(2”,2”-dimethyl chromeno)-8-g,g-dimethyl allyl flavanone, 3’,4’dihydroxy-7,8 (2”,2”- dimethyl chromeno)-6-g,g dimethyl allyl flavonol, 7-methyltectorigenin, Irisolidone, have been isolated from leaves of Lannea acida . Their structures were elucidated by chemical and physical data (IR, UV, 1H-NMR, and Mass spectra).
