Chemical constituents of Cardamine flexuosa

Chemical investigation of the whole plant of Cardamine flexuosa led to the isolation of β-sitosterol (1), stigmasterol (2), lutein (3), unsaturated triglycerides (4) and the essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (5) and linolenic acid (6). The structures of 1-6 were identified by comparison of their 1H NMR data with those reported in the literature.
