Comparative investigation of structural and morphological properties of CdSe/ZnS and CdSe/ZnSe core/shell nanoparticles
Author(s): A. R. Baby Suganth, F. Mary AnjalinWe report the synthesis of cadmium selenide (CdSe) nanoparticles, which are covered by zinc sulfide (ZnS) and zinc selenide (ZnSe). The materials have been characterized using range of characterization techniques. X-Ray diffraction spectra, transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectra were used to analyze the average size, shape, internal structure and chemical composition of the core-shell nanoparticles.
