Direct and practical synthesis of 2-Arylbenzoxazoles promoted by Silica supported sodium hydrogen sulphate

Srinivasa ReddyBenzoxazole derivatives have been prepared through the reaction of 2-Amino phenols and aldehydes in the presence of catalytic amount of Silica supported sodium hydrogen sulphate (NaHSO4-SiO2) under refluxing in Dioxane solvent to obtained excellent yields.
