DubeyA practical and convenient procedure for the synthesis of enantioselective (S)-Rivastigmine and (+)-NPS-R-568 a potent calcimimetic agent is accomplished by the treatment of (S) and (R)-tertbutanesulfinamides respectively with 3-methoxyacetophenone. This protocol provides high yield and excellent enantiomeric excess in short step synthesis.
