Abstract
Green synthesis of saccharin substituted urea and thiourea derivatives and their antimicrobial evaluation
Author(s): Rashmi Singh and Komal JakharA series of saccharin substituted urea and thiourea derivatives has been synthesized by reaction of differently substituted ureas and thioureas with saccharin under microwave irradiations using water as a non-toxic, nonflammable green solvent. The structure of the synthesized compounds has been confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, mass and elemental analysis. The synthesized compounds have been evaluated for their antimicrobial activity against different bacterial and fungal strains using micro broth dilution assay. The compounds are further screened for drug likeliness and In silico ADMET analysis.
