Abstract
Isolation and study of antimicrobial activities of polar and non polar flavanoids from the leaves of Phyllanthus emblica
Author(s): Ketki. D. BansodPolar flavanoids and non polar flavanoids have been isolated from the leaves of Phyllanthus emblica (Amla) by chemical method. The isolated extract was screened for antimicrobial activities against Proteus vulgaris, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhi. The extracts showed good to moderate activity against the pathogens
