The resins poly[(2,4-di hydroxy Acetophenone)ethylene, was synthesized using DHAP with propane 1,3-diol synthesized resin has been utilized to prepared polychelates of La(III), Pr(III), Nd(III), Sm(III), Gd(III), Tb(III) and Dy(III) Monomer, resin and polychelates were characterized using modern analytical methods. The application of resin is also studied as an ion-exchanger for above mentioned Ln(III) metal ions.
