Neutral Alumina supported melamine trisulphonic acid (MTSA-Al2O3) was found to be highly convenient, green and recyclable heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridines through one-pot two component reaction of substituted chalcones and urea at 120 °C under solvent free conditions.
