A series of novel bis-ketimines were synthesized by the reaction of substituted hydroxypropiophenones and ethylene diamine by classical and solvent free microwave irradiation method. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, 1HNMR, Mass data. The spectral data confirmed the structures of the synthesized compounds. All the synthesized products are screened for their in vitro antibacterial activity. The results signified that synthesized compounds have moderate to potent activities with respect to their appropriate reference standards and emerges as a potent antibacterial agents.
