Microwave promoted synthesis of pharmacologically active Schiff bases of indolo [2, 3-b] quinoxaline
Author(s): Nandini R. Pai, Krishnakant T. WaghmodeMicrowave promoted synthesis of pharmacologically active Schiff bases of indolo [2, 3-b] quinoxaline is described. Microwave assisted synthesis not only reduced the reaction time drastically but also gave excellent yields of Schiff bases of indolo [2, 3-b] quinoxaline derivatives. The synthesized compounds are characterized by FTIR, 1H NMR and Mass spectral data.
