An efficient and eco-friendly one-pot synthesis of 6-amino-3-methyl-4-phenyl-2,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]p yrazole-5- carbonitrile derivatives by four-component phenylb oronic acid-catalysed reactions of aryl aldehydes , malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate and hydrazine hyd rate in aqueous media is described. This method pro vides several advantages such as shorter reaction times, excellent yields, and a simple workup procedure.
