Corrosion inhibition of aluminium in carbonate sodium solution was investigated by weight loss and electrochemical techniques using eugenol oil as inhibitor. The inhibition efficiency increase when the eugenol concentration enhance. The obtained data revel that the tested oil acts as an excellent inhibitor for the corrosion of aluminium in Na2CO3 solution. The value of some thermodynamic, kinetic parameters was calculated from the experimental data. The adsorption of eugenol on the metal surface followed the Langmuir adsorption isotherm.
