Abstract
Synthesis and Biological evaluation of new 4-amino tetrazolo[1,5-a]quinoline

KotreshA series of new 4-amino tetrazolo[1,5-a]quinolones 4(a-o) are synthesised from 4-chloro tetrazolo[1,5-a]quinolines. The synthesized compounds were characterized through FT-IR, Mass spectrometry, 1H NMR and 13C NMR. These synthesized compounds have been screened for antimicrobial activity against S. aureus, E. coli and A. niger, A. alternata. Compounds (4a, 4e, 4f, 4g, 4j, 4m) were highly active against S.aureus and E. coli with less MIC.
