Abstract
Synthesis and characterization of potential impurit ies in Fenofibrate drug substance
Author(s): Rahul Patil, Suryakant Patil*, Priyanka Joshi and V idyadhar JadhavFenofibrate is used to treat high levels of cholest erol and triglyceride in the blood. In the present study, eight process related impurities of Fenofibrate drug were synthesized and characterized by their respective spectral data (IR, MS and 1 H-NMR). The identification of these impurities shou ld be useful for quality control in the manufacture of Fenofibrate.
