Novel series of Mannich bases of 7-azaspiro[4.5]decane-6,8-dione with intact imide moiety were synthesized for the first time from various sulfonamides and secondary amines. The structural characterization is made using elemental and spectral studies. All the newly synthesized Mannich bases are introduced for antimicrobial activity against the bacteria S.aureus, S.typhi and P.aruginosa.
