Abstract
Synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial activity of N'-(substituted phenyl)-2-(1H-azol-1-yl) acetamides
Author(s): Rambhau P. GoreA facile two-step synthesis of N'-(substituted phenyl)-2-(1H-azol-1-yl) acetamides have been carried out by acylation of substituted aromatic primary amines and subsequent alkylation of N-chloroacetyl aryl amineswith some azoles in good yields. The synthesized compounds have been characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and Mass spectral data.
