4-Biphenyl substituted thiazolyl-Pyridin-2-amine derivatives were prepared by Suzuki coupling reaction, between N-[4-(4-Bromophenyl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]-pyridin-2-amine and substituted phenyl boronic acids. The new compounds were subjected to, antibacterial, antiproliferative, anti-inflammatory and molecular docking studies. Among the compounds tested, N-[4-(4’-fluorobiphenyl-4-yl)-1,3-thiazol-2-yl]pyridine-2-amine and N-{4-[4’-(trifluoromethyl) biphenyl-4-yl]-1,3-thiazol-2-yl}pyridine-2-amine showed promising properties. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by analytical, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and LCMS.
