Abstract
The effect of platinisation on the photocatalytic activity of Bi2WO6
Author(s): Asmae Bouziani*, Abderrahim EL Hourch and Mohammed El AzzouziBi2WO6 obtained by hydrothermal method, the Bi2WO6 doped with platinum (PtBi2WO6) were prepared by adding Chloroplatinic acid H2PtCl6, 6 H2O (0, 5 Pt) to pure Bi2WO6 and their photocatalytic activity to degrade methyl orange (MO) under UV irradiation were studied. In the present study PtBi2WO6 sample demonstrate much higher photocatalytic efficiency to degrade MO than pure Bi2WO6.
