Abstract
Structural Elucidation of a New Novel Pentacyclic Triterpenoid Isolated from Caralluma Attenuata Root

Rabbani BashaFrom the root of Caralluma attenuata belonging to the family Asclepiadaceae, a novel pentacyclic triterpenoid was isolated. Its structure was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. This is the first report of such novel pentacyclic triterpenoid from C. attenuata root.
