Abstract
Synthesis of Quinoline Based Dihydroimidazo Pyridone Derivatives and Evaluation of Insect Antifeedant Activity
Author(s): Udaya Sree K* and Ramana Reddy ALVIn view of generating new compounds for future drug development, we have synthesized some synthesis of 2-(nitromethylene) imidazolidine (5) reacted with α,β unsaturated Acetates (4a-o) achieved via Micheal addition to give Quinoline based Dihydroimidazo Pyridone derivatives (6a-o). All the synthesized compounds were fully characterized on the basis of their detailed spectral studies and were evaluated for their insect Antifeedant activity.
