  Background: Cancer is the world's leading cause of death today. Cancer patients' outcomes have significantly improved as surgery, radiotherapy and pharmaceuticals have advanced. Main body: fortunately the basic mechanisms of cancer are unknown. Natural remedies have recently been shown to be beneficial for an extensive list of ailments and they have played an important role in the development of new therapies.
