  A simple, rapid, accurate and precise UV spectrophotometric Method for Linagliptin in Bulk and marketed tablet dosage form has been developed. The λmax of Linagliptin was found to be 295 nm. The method was linear in the range of 2-10 μg/ml presenting a good correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.9991).
