Comparision of Anti-diabetic Activity of Plant Based and Synthetic Aryltetalin Derivatives

The aryltetralin compound podophyllotoxin was extracted from the roots of plant P. peltatum and analogues of aryltetralin were synthesized using
tetralone as a starting material. They were synthesized by replacing 1, 3‐methylene dioxy ring with dimethoxy, hydroxy, methyl, chlorine and
hydrogen and methoxy group. The structure of the final compounds was confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, mass spectra and elemental analysis data
